ScrapRight Version 2.5 — Release Notes

Summary

Version 2.5 delivers a major round of stability and quality-of-life improvements across the platform. The biggest areas of focus are AP/AR reliability and performance, QuickBooks sync accuracy, check printing consistency, and reporting fixes. We also added a new Price Change Audit Report and a Derelict Report for Tennessee customers.

Key Highlights

  • AP/AR Performance Overhaul — The AP and AR screens now load significantly faster, especially for high-volume and multi-location yards. Pagination has been added and redundant server calls during page load have been eliminated.

  • Check Number Sequencing Fix — Resolved an issue where duplicate check numbers could be generated when tickets were paid simultaneously from different workstations. Check numbers now reliably advance to the next sequence.

  • QuickBooks Sync Improvements — Multiple fixes ensure transactions sync to QuickBooks Online and Desktop with the correct customer names, payment methods, check/memo fields, and account assignments. Voiding a shipper now also voids the corresponding invoice in QBO automatically.

  • New: Price Change Audit Report — A new report is available to track and review all material price changes, giving you a clear audit trail.

  • IoT app download and user manual (PDF) are now available directly from the login page.

Reporting Improvements

  • Sales Invoice Report, FG Production Report, and Sales Margin Report now generate correctly with proper date filtering and accurate COGS data.

  • Customer History and Referrals Report downloads no longer produce errors or incorrect file formats.

  • History Report printing now respects your current filters instead of printing all records.

  • New Derelict Report available for Tennessee customers.

Ticketing & Customer Management

  • Customer price lists now correctly apply the assigned unit of measure (UOM) on tickets instead of defaulting to the material's default UOM.

  • Salesperson selection is now properly displayed on the ticketing screen.

  • Vehicle information auto-populates on tickets as expected after migration.

  • Adding vehicles with Kansas compliance enabled now works correctly.

  • The notes section no longer auto-scrolls to the top of the page when adding notes.

  • Customer documents can now be uploaded without encountering server errors.

  • Cash Card images now save and display correctly.

Dispatch

  • Creating dispatches with multiple assets now works as expected.

  • Drivers can finish trips when the same asset type is selected multiple times in exchange pickups.

  • Customer search on dispatch tickets has been fixed.

Check Printing

  • Fixed an issue where an extra blank check page would print after the valid check.

  • Long written amounts on the "Regular Check" template no longer overflow to a new line.

QuickBooks Integration (QBO & QBD)

  • Check number and ticket number now map to the correct fields (check number → Check field, ticket number → Memo field).

  • Business employees sync under the business name, not the individual employee name.

  • POSCheck payments now correctly select the "check" payment method.

  • Invoice check syncs from inventory are routed to the undeposited funds account.

  • QBD: Fully negative AP tickets now sync as invoices; multiple checks on a purchase ticket create a bill with check payments.

Inventory & Packing Lists

  • Material mapping save button now works correctly.

  • Fixed a data conversion error that could occur when finalizing packing lists.

  • BOL numbers now print on shipper invoices, and the same Mill Number can be used across multiple packing lists under one contract.

Other Fixes

  • Workstation editing no longer produces a server error.

  • ATR screen now shows the correct "AP" label instead of "Paid" when filtering by AP ticket status.

  • Price editing no longer changes the first yard to "no organization found" when navigating.

  • Voiding a ticket with linked material now properly returns the material to inventory.

  • SC Permit compliance issue resolved.
