ScrapRight V2-2.4 Release notes

This release delivers a major redesign of the public-facing Vehicle Quoter, significant improvements to reporting, inventory, and ticketing workflows, and resolves a wide range of bugs and UI issues across the ScrapRight platform.

New features and enhancements

  • Introduced a ScrapRight notification system alert to inform users of updates upon first login

  • Added Asset History tab for Business and Customer histories, including asset number, trip type, and driver details

  • Redesign of the public-facing Vehicle Quoter for improved user experience

  • Added multi-select options for materials and organizations in Sales Invoice reports

  • HTML and color customization changes for iframe design

Improvements to existing features

  • Improved inventory average cost calculation

  • Enhanced Ticket Builder features for consistent IoT printing

  • Refined vehicle list and selection steps in quoting workflow

  • Customer info section streamlined to only require name, email, and phone

  • Added MiddleName field to all relevant customer API models

  • GetTicketbyTicketId API now includes PaymentType parameter

  • Clickable tickets in customer/business history now open in new tabs

  • Added ALL filter and ticket opening to Accounting Transactions page

  • Improved package discovery and PL assignment visibility

  • Fixed validation messages on ticketing screen VIN info popup

  • Resolved error messages when downloading various reports

  • Corrected date formats across multiple reports

  • Fixed outbound and compact ticket screen errors

  • Addressed camera bundle and scale attachment issues

  • Fixed inventory screen calculation errors when voiding adjustments

  • Resolved issues with voiding tickets, package transfers, and check register refresh

  • Fixed admin and organization search permissions

  • Corrected AP default payment and check layout UI

  • Addressed issues with customer search, contamination entry, and cash card creation dates

Technical changes

  • Added API parameter for material selection under Ohio SelectPicker

  • Improved logic for hiding blank customers

  • Updated logic for check formats and reconciliation
